Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, light pressure technique to redirect excess lymphatic fluid, helping to reduce swelling (lymphedema), alleviate pain caused by fluid build up, and support immune function. The technique involves light, rhythmic stretching and releasing of the skin to stimulate the lymphatic vessels and reroute stagnant fluid. MLD is most beneficial for post-traumatic and post-surgical swelling.
